Total Divas recruited her in September of 2013 in a seven-on-7 tag-team elimination match between True Divas and Total Divas. Mendes defeated her during the match. Her big victory came in February 2014's Elimination Chamber episode where she defeated AJ Lee and won the Divas Champion title. That next week, she faced another match against Lee however she was unable to retain her title. Ariana later fought Lee to compete for the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational, which was won also by Lee. On July 14, 2014, Nikki Bella participated in the match as Summer Rae Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes Summer Rae. Ariana only was there to face Nikki Bella. Then she was able to play Naomi at the Battleground ceremony prior to the event. In that match Ariana defeated Naomi. In turn, the rivalry started between them. In the summer, they wrestled in a number of handicap singles as well as tag match matches. Throughout the summer of, Ariana competed with other wrestling stars Alicia Fox Paige Bella Twins as well as Asuka. WWE confirmed in 2016 that Ariana's contract was terminated after two consecutive months of non-activity. Arina joined WWE NXT since her resignation.
